On America's 250th birthday, France beat Paraguay 1-0 in the 2026 World Cup Round of 16 in front of 68,324 fans. It was both the hottest match of the tournament (so far) and the final match played at Philadelphia Stadium this summer. Emotions were high and the players' tempers ran as hot as the 100-degree temperatures.
